Ingredients
  

Stuffing
  • 4 medium Bell Peppers Any color
  • 1 cup Cooked Rice White or brown
  • 1 lb Ground Beef Can substitute with turkey or plant-based
  • 1 cup Tomato Sauce Plus extra for topping
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese Cheddar or mozzarella

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked rice, browned beef, tomato sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Stuff each bell pepper with the mixture and place them in a baking dish.
  6. Top each pepper with additional tomato sauce and shredded cheese.
Baking
  1. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  3. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
