Marinade Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika smoked or sweet
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary chopped

Method
 

Prepare the Marinade
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, olive oil, red wine vinegar, and honey until well combined.
  2. Add minced garlic, Dijon mustard, black pepper, salt, paprika, and rosemary. Whisk until all ingredients are mixed thoroughly.
Marinate the Steak
  1. Place the steak in a Ziploc bag or a shallow dish.
  2. Pour the marinade over the steak, ensuring it is well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish.
  3. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for best flavor.

Notes

For best results, use a thick cut of steak such as ribeye or sirloin. Discard any leftover marinade that has come into contact with raw meat.
