Smash Burger Tacos

Ingredients
  

For the Smash Burgers
  • 1 lb Ground beef (80/20) Formed into balls
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 4 slices Cheddar cheese
For the Tacos
  • 8 small Corn tortillas Warmed
  • 1 cup Shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup Diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream
  • 1/4 cup Pickles Sliced
  • 1 tbsp Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Mustard

Method
 

Prepare the Smash Burgers
  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Form the ground beef into 8 balls and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Place the balls in the skillet and smash them down with a spatula to form patties.
  4. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip and add a slice of cheese on top.
  5. Cook for another 2 minutes until the cheese is melted.
Assemble the Tacos
  1. Warm the corn tortillas in a separate skillet or microwave.
  2. Place a smash burger patty on each tortilla.
  3. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream, pickles, ketchup, and mustard.
  4. Fold the tortillas and serve immediately.
