  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese optional
For the Tacos
  • 8 small corn tortillas or flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños optional
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro for garnish

Method

Prepare the Beef
  1. In a mixing bowl, season the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Divide into 4 equal portions and shape into loose balls.
Cook the Burgers

  2. Flip the patties, add a slice of cheddar cheese on top, and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted.
Assemble the Tacos
  1. Warm the corn tortillas in a separate skillet or microwave. Place a burger patty on each tortilla.
  2. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream, jalapeños, and cilantro.
