Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients
  • 2 cups Greek yogurt unsweetened
  • 1 cup milk can use almond or coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup protein powder vanilla or chocolate flavor
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup for vegan option
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional Mix-ins
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips or nuts
  • 1/2 cup fruit such as berries or bananas

Method
 

Prepare the Base
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, milk, protein powder, honey, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  2. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more honey or sweetener.
Chill the Mixture
  1. Cover the mixture and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to chill.
Churn the Ice Cream
  1. Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
Add Mix-ins and Freeze
  1. If using, fold in chocolate chips or fruit gently with a spatula.
  2. Transfer the mixture to an airtight container and freeze for at least 2 hours to firm up.
Serve
  1. Scoop the protein ice cream into bowls and enjoy!
