Prepare the Chicken Wings
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and place them in a mixing bowl.
- Season the wings with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Toss to coat evenly.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Make the Pineapple Cowboy Candy Sauce
- In a saucepan, combine pineapple juice, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, sliced jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes until slightly thickened.
Bake the Wings
- Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and cooked through.
- During the last 5 minutes of baking, brush the wings generously with the pineapple cowboy candy sauce.
Serve
- Remove the wings from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Serve hot, drizzled with additional sauce if desired.
