  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender ensure it's food-grade

Method
 

Making the Syrup
  1. In a saucepan, combine water and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Add the dried lavender to the saucepan and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  3. Simmer for about 10 minutes, allowing the lavender to infuse the syrup.
  4. Remove from heat and let the syrup cool for 10 minutes.
  5. Strain the syrup through a fine mesh strainer into a clean bottle or jar, discarding the lavender flowers.
  6. Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
