Making the Syrup
- In a saucepan, combine water and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the dried lavender to the saucepan and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
- Simmer for about 10 minutes, allowing the lavender to infuse the syrup.
- Remove from heat and let the syrup cool for 10 minutes.
- Strain the syrup through a fine mesh strainer into a clean bottle or jar, discarding the lavender flowers.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
