Ingredients
  

Dressing Base
  • 1 cup olive oil extra virgin recommended
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon honey optional for sweetness
Herbs and Spices
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground preferred

Method
 

Combine Ingredients
  1. In a bowl, whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, and honey until well combined.
  2. Add the dried oregano, dried basil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to the mixture.
  3. Whisk again until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
Store and Serve
  1. Transfer the dressing to a jar with a lid and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  2. Shake well before serving. Use on salads or as a marinade.
