  • 1 cup onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes 14.5 oz
  • 1 cup beef broth or water
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni uncooked
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Cooking Steps
  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot, cooking until the onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in the diced tomatoes, beef broth, tomato paste, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then add the uncooked elbow macaroni.
  5. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the macaroni is tender.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste before serving.
