Ingredients
  

Meat and Pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni uncooked
Vegetables
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 medium green bell pepper chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
Sauce
  • 1 can diced tomatoes 14.5 oz
  • 1 can tomato sauce 8 oz
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1 tsp black pepper to taste

Method
 

Cook the Meat
  1. In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
Add Vegetables
  1. Add the chopped onion, green bell pepper, and minced garlic to the pot. Sauté until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
Combine Ingredients
  1. Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Cook Pasta
  1. Bring the mixture to a boil, then add the elbow macaroni. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is cooked.
Serve
  1. Serve hot, garnished with parsley if desired.
