  • 1/2 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

  • 1 cup Strong brewed coffee or espresso

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Macerate the fresh strawberries with sugar and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Dip ladyfingers quickly in coffee or espresso.
  4. Layer the bottom of a dish with dipped ladyfingers.
  5. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  6. Add a layer of macerated strawberries on top.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining ladyfingers, mascarpone mixture, and strawberries.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
