  • 3 slices Brioche bread
  • 2 tbsp condensed milk (sweetened)
  • 1 unit egg
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1-2 tbsp caster sugar for caramelizing

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine condensed milk, egg, milk, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt. Whisk until well blended.
  2. Dip each slice of Brioche bread into the mixture, ensuring both sides are coated.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little butter or oil.
  4. Place the coated bread slices on the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Once cooked, transfer the French Toast to a serving plate.
  6. Sprinkle caster sugar on top and caramelize using a kitchen torch or broiler until a crust forms.
