Ingredients
  

Meatloaf Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20 blend preferred
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs plain or Italian
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp ketchup plus extra for topping
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt, pepper, and thyme. Mix until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in the crockpot.
  3. Spread additional ketchup on top of the meatloaf for added flavor.
Cooking
  1. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6 hours or until the meatloaf reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
  2. Once cooked, carefully remove the meatloaf from the crockpot and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes
