Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoons salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 large egg
  • 0.5 cups milk
  • 0.5 cups unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Fruits
  • 1 cups fresh blueberries

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease the muffin tin.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the wet ingredients: egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the blueberries.
Baking
  1. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  3. Allow to cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For best results, use fresh blueberries. You can also substitute with frozen blueberries, but do not thaw them before adding to the batter.
