Ingredients
  

Beef and Vegetables
  • 1 pound ground beef or diced beef
  • 1 cup onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups potatoes peeled and diced
  • 1 cup carrots sliced
  • 1 cup green beans trimmed and cut
Sauce
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper to taste
Topping
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or your choice
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs optional

Method
 

Prepare the Beef
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until softened.
Combine Ingredients
  1. In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture, potatoes, carrots, green beans, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated.
Bake the Casserole
  1. Transfer the mixture to a casserole dish and spread evenly.
  2. Top with shredded cheese and breadcrumbs if using.
  3. Cover with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes.
  4. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-30 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
Serve
  1. Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
