Method
Prepare the Ribs
- Preheat the grill to medium heat (about 300°F).
- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor and tenderness.
- In a bowl, mix together the dry rub ingredients and generously coat the ribs on both sides.
Cook the Ribs
- Place the ribs on the grill bone side down and cover. Cook for 2.5 to 3 hours, basting with BBQ sauce every 30 minutes.
- Check for doneness; ribs should be tender and pull away from the bone easily.
Serve
- Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for 10 minutes.
- Slice between the bones and serve with additional BBQ sauce on the side.
