Ingredients
  

Casserole Base
  • 1 lb Ground Beef 85% lean
  • 4 slices Bacon Cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese Shredded
  • 1 cup Pickles Chopped
  • 1 cup Onion Chopped
  • 1 cup Tomato Diced
  • 1 cup Pasta Elbow macaroni or similar
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 1 cup Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Mustard
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add chopped onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Stir in cooked bacon, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, combine the beef mixture with cooked pasta, pickles, tomatoes, and half of the cheddar cheese.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with remaining cheddar cheese.
Baking
  1. Pour beef broth over the casserole.
  2. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  3. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  4. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
