  • 2 medium ripe avocados peeled and pitted
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt for a healthier option
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro chopped, optional

Method
 

Prepare the Sauce
  1. In a blender, combine the avocados, garlic, lime juice, sour cream, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, add a little water to reach desired consistency.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Stir in chopped cilantro if using.
