Ingredients
  

Vegetables
  • 4 cups green cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup carrots, grated
  • 1 cup red cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup green onions, sliced
  • 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
Dressing
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium recommended
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup for vegan option
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Vegetables
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded green cabbage, grated carrots, shredded red cabbage, sliced green onions, and chopped cilantro.
Make the Dressing
  1. In a separate bowl, whisk together the rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, grated ginger, and minced garlic until well combined.
Combine and Serve
  1. Pour the dressing over the vegetable mixture and toss to combine. Garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
